Clean and Affordable Energy

'The future is green energy, sustainability, renewable energy '. We, Team Samutsaha, intended to promote the usage of energy in relation with sustainability by moving towards renewable sources of energy. The event was held in five villages in Vikarabad consisting of 180 houses with a population of 700 people and in the SC Girls Hostel, Chevella.(with a strength of 100 students).
In order to achieve our goal, we distributed solar lamps for each house in those villages and in hostel we provided two solar lamps for each room. There were 72 houses in Chenchupally, 25 in sheriguda, 55 in Dandugudda and 30 in Lalsingthanda with a population of 800 in total. Having distributed the lamps, we also explained the procedure to maintain the solar lamps in order to ensure it's smooth functioning. It was a successful event with a positive impact.
